Campos do Jordão is located in the Serra da Mantiqueira region, in the State of São Paulo, about 180 km by car from the capital of São Paulo, 83 km from São José dos Campos and 330 km from Rio de Janeiro. The closest airports are São José dos Campos (80 km away) and Guarulhos (150 km away).

Amantikir Park

Capivari Park

The park, which today is a reference for leisure and tourism, home to the first chair lift in Brazil, has its origins in 1874, when Vila de São Matheus do Imbiri was founded, and goes through 1914, when the Campos Railway of Jordan was inaugurated. Itapeva Peak

Boa Vista Palace

This is the official winter residence of the governor of the State of São Paulo. It is located in Alto da Boa Vista and houses a large artistic collection, composed of works by important names in Brazilian art. Next to the palace is the Chapel of Saint Peter the Apostle, designed by the architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha. Campos do Jordao State Park

Campos do Jordão State Park, known locally as Horto Florestal, occupies a third of the municipality, on the border with Minas Gerais. Cherry Blossom Park

It has a collection of 85 sculptures by Felícia Leiner, 44 of which are bronze, 39 of white cement and 2 of granite, expressing the sculptor's passion for the forms of nature. Imbiri Peak

Located just 4 km from the city center is this peak, away from the urban center, it is the ideal place for those who want an absolutely different point of the city. It was opened in November 2021 and completely revitalized, with its main street widened and altered with a layer of small stones, which allows access by any passenger car. Founded in 1991, Araucária, according to its official website, has been expanding its area of operation, increasing its production volume year after year. The company has clients along the Rio – São Paulo axis, but is also active in other states such as Minas Gerais, Goiás, Ceará, Piauí, Bahia and Paraná.

The brewery was born from the union of three companies: Sheps do Brasil, The Beer Store and Choperia Baden Baden. The famous German cuisine restaurant of the same name, founded in 1985, was one of the main customers of Sheps do Brasil, a brand building company and selective distributor of English and Canadian gourmet beers.

Our last stop couldn't be more quirky. At 1,500 meters above sea level, we find Iceland, a bar built of ice. With the themed interior decoration, the place took its shape with the use of a total of 38 thousand kilos of ice, which projects an ambient temperature between freezing -15º and -20º.

And don't be fooled: everything there is made of ice, including the sofas, armchairs, benches, counter and even the walls. Just get to the center of Vila Capivari, inside the São Bento Market.
