What to do in Kaş, Antalya

If we say why we love Kaş so much, it is a place that deserves to be loved with its calmness, but also the evening liveliness of its streets, its sea, its coves, its people, its shabbyness! We talked about how long to stay in Kaş and what to eat and drink in Kaş.

One of the reasons why Kaş has still remained relatively untouched for so long is that you can't go to it with a bang. The most logical thing is to fly to Antalya or Dalaman airport. It takes about 3 hours from Antalya airport and 3 hours and 45 minutes from Dalaman. If you have a car, of course, you are more lucky, although if we consider the distance from Istanbul, it takes about 11-12 hours by car.

If you have a flight to Dalaman or Antalya airports, direct shuttles/minibuses depart from the airports to Kaş in high season. In low season, you can go to the bus station by airbus and take the Kas minibuses from there.

Kekova Boat Tour

Speaking of Kas, Kekova can't be done without a boat tour! So far, we have had the chance to take a boat tour in many places, from Brazil to the Philippines. Kekova is a clear champion for us.

First, let's explain how the boat tour is and how you should choose the boat. Before we went, we read reviews everywhere and chose Mavi Kaş Turizm. Firstly, the owners of the boat were very, very nice people, secondly, the meals were officially mother's meals, it was the first time we were so satisfied with the food on a boat tour. Third, because they arranged our route to stay away from the crowds on the boat tour, we went everywhere, but we did not go at the same time as the other tours. That was a bonus too! So, we have chosen a tour that we can comfortably recommend.

Küçük Çakıl Beach

I think the reason why we love Kaş's beaches so much is that almost none of them have blaring music. For example, this place is relatively larger than other beaches and its operation is larger, but still there is no music on the beach. This is a big plus for us.

Akcagerme Beach

We are getting closer and closer to the center of Kaş! This is a Kas beach, 2-3 km away from the center of Kas, with a calm sea and some sand after pebbles. Families with children are in the majority, and the prices of umbrellas and sunbeds are also very affordable. There is a cafe section to buy food and drink, but if you bring your food with you, no one interferes.

Kaputas Beach

As soon as you made the Kaş plan, you started looking at Kaputaş view photos, right? At least that's what we did. We think that the reason why Kaputaş is so popular is because of its sea view and umbrellas seen from above, because it is really as beautiful as the view!

First of all, let's say that Kaputaş is 15-20 minutes away from the Kaş center by car. But it doesn't prevent it from being crowded like crazy every season. And this is a big problem for those who come by car in the high season because there is no parking area in the area where Kaputaş is, the cars are parked on the side of the road. The already limited parking space is exhausted in the summer and leaving the car is a big problem, so in high season it is most logical to come to Kaputaş either by car very early or by minibus from Kaş center at regular time.
