Blankenberge - The Belgian coast

Blankenberge can be quite busy in the months of July and August and then it is less advisable, For the shopping street can be quite busy. But in the spring like May and June then it is really great. On the beach there are plenty of cocktail bars where you can enjoy the sun and a drink! It is mainly Flemings, Walloons and Germans who visit Blankenberge.

You have very many restaurant on the dike itself but they are rather focused on tourism. The restaurant "the oyster pit" is definitely a must if you like fish and shellfish.

In the center you can also see beautiful authentic belle époque houses.

You can also take a nice walk in the beautiful dunes or get a breath of fresh air on the pier with a restaurant overlooking the North Sea.

I would say definitely worth a visit if you're in Belgium!
