Libraries in which you will be involved in different worlds as you scroll through the book pages.

Everyone in the world should have free access to the opportunity to learn, read and work. Libraries may consist of small rooms with a few hundred books, or there are libraries with huge and magnificent structures with a great history. If you are interested in libraries, if you want to stop by a library on your trip and get lost among the pages of the books, I will offer you some good library suggestions from around the world.

Lincoln College Library (Oxford, UK)

Lincoln College Library, located in Oxford, was originally a converted church. Currently used as a university study space, the library was created by the reopening of All Saints Church, built in 1975, as a library. Since the building has a wonderful architecture, many tourists come even just to take pictures. Early classics, a special Hebrew collection, a number of modern works and thousands of different books can be found in this library. Lincoln College can also be visited after visiting the library.

National Library of Finland (Helsinki)

Located opposite the Helsinki Cathedral, this library was built by Anttinen Oiva Architects. Its white curved architecture and futuristic vaulted ceilings make this building a work of art. If you are in Helsinki this library is worth visiting.

Public Library (New York)

The Public Library has a very large collection of books and archives. The Public Library, which also hosts presentations, talks and conferences, has been serving everyone for more than 150 years. The library contains over 50 million items, from digital media to traditional books. It offers everyone a peaceful and calm resting environment.

Yusuhara Public Library (Kochi, Japan)

Yusuhara Public Library, designed with excellent woodwork, is located in Yusuhara village. The ceiling of the library features wooden beams. It's a very warm atmosphere inside and there are plenty of places to sit comfortably and work. There is a grand piano at the entrance of the library. Its architectural design and the nature around it are definitely worth a visit.

El Ateneo Grand Splendid Bookstore (Buenos Aires, Argentina)

This building, which is both a library and a bookstore, is located in Buenos Aires. Serving as a performing arts venue when it opened in 1919, this building is now one of the largest bookstores in South America. The theater seats, which used to be inside, were removed and put into a warehouse. Here you can browse the store, read the book you want and, if you're lucky, relax your soul by listening to live piano music.
