We love the spring weather and the colors it adds to nature, but when the winter season comes, the pleasure of taking short trips to the snowy landscapes is completely different! We wanted to list the places where the white cotton snow suits us best. Uludag, Bursa

Of course, a winter route article without Uludağ is unthinkable! One of the most popular ski routes of Turkey with its transportation and plenty of accommodation alternatives; but the main reason for our love for Uludağ is that even if we don't ski, we find a lot of things to do here! Walks in the nature of Çobankaya and Sarıalan, sausage bread against the abundant snowy scenery, hot wine to drink at the cafe in the ski resort, nature watched while climbing up by cable car or sledding like children!

Borcka Karagol, Artvin

You may remember Borcka Karagol from its green photographs, it must have appeared before you. Well, have you ever thought about how this lake would be in winter? It is exactly as in the photo, white! If the road is open, if there is an entrance to the park, the view of the white Borcka Karagol is yours, enjoy it!

Camlihemsin, Rize

Çamlıhemşin is by far one of our favorite places in Turkey! Especially in 2022, Çamlıhemşin is one of the most suitable spots for the desire to mingle with nature, which we desperately need. We think it's beautiful in all seasons, try to visit here in winter and stay in a bungalow once!

Akdamar Island, Van

You can see Van's Akdamar Island in every season; but if you are lucky in winter and the boats are running that day, you will witness a perfect view that you can come across 3-5 times a year at most. It is also very beautiful with the pink flowers of the almond trees that bloom in the spring, but its snowy appearance is completely different! Located in the middle of Tatvan and Van, Akdamar Island is the home of the circular church built 1000 years ago. A similar church is also in the Ani Ruins of Kars.

Ani Ruins, Kars

Kars, one of our favorite cities in Turkey, is one of the places where snow suits its Baltic-inspired architecture. If you ask where to go in winter with its many Russian architecture from the past to the present, beautifully preserved historical mansions and buildings, and of course very delicious food, it would be the first city we would say. We love Kars! Moreover, when it snows and everywhere is white, it becomes a much more beautiful city, even above your expectations. Another route to which we associate the winter season very well with Kars is Ani Ruins. It is a must-see with its deep history, snow-covered ruins and the Arpacay landscape that forms the border with Armenia.
