On the other hand, if your goal is to enjoy the beaches, I recommend the Mellieha Bay area. If your vibe is to enjoy the busy nightlife of Malta, St. Julian's is the good choice. Families love the tranquility of St. Paul's Bay.

Another super tip is to break your stay into two or more regions. This way, you will optimize your trip and enjoy every corner of the archipelago without spending so much time traveling. I suggest 2-3 nights in each of the following cities: Valletta, St. Paul's Bay and Marsaxlokk.
